About the Authors

Martin Stone has been an investment property broker for the last 27 years. Throughout his career, he has managed more than 1,000 units, has built more than 40 apartment and commercial buildings, and has written and lectured extensively about all areas related to real estate investing. He is also the managing broker of Buckingham Investments and Richmand Financial Services in El Segundo, California. Marty lives with his wife Lori and their three sons - Chris, Aaron, and Adam - in a home he built himself.

Spencer Strauss makes his living as a real estate broker at Buckingham Investments in El Segundo, California. In that capacity, Spencer has bought, sold, and managed countless buildings and has helped many investors get their start in real estate. Spencer's advice has been heard on radio stations KFI and KABC in Los Angeles. He has been featured also in USA Today, the New York Post, the Chicago Tribune, the Long Beach Press Telegram, and the Los Angeles Times.
